Welcome to our community
ABOUT US
Precious Seed Inc. was founded over 40 years ago with a heart to serve children, families, and communities in need. Our founder, Wyman, dedicated his life to traveling and serving communities around the world. Through his work and ministry, he helped establish and support children’s homes overseas, including several in Mexico.
His passion for caring for children and bringing hope to communities became the foundation of what Precious Seed Inc. continues to do today. Because of that legacy, supporting children’s homes remains an important part of our mission. We continue to be actively involved with children’s homes in Mexico, providing support, resources, and hands-on assistance to help meet the needs of the children and those who care for them.
After settling in the Rio Grande Valley, our focus has grown closer to home. Today, we concentrate much of our outreach in the Alton and Mission communities, while remaining committed to going wherever there is a need. Through food distributions, children’s ministries, educational assistance, crisis relief, essential supplies, community outreach, and special events, we strive to meet people where they are and offer practical help and hope.
Our mission is simple:
To serve where the need is greatest, care for those who need it most, and continue planting seeds of hope wherever God leads us.
